We were granted an opportunity to go to New York (Designer and curator’s Dezmond Wheeler’s first time) and we had to take advantage of the opportunity because it’s what’s needed to move the brand forward. Money wasn’t the most abundant but with proper planning we were able to secure a flight and decent hotel. We were aware that all we needed was to be in the City of Dreams to chase ours. During the pandemic and limited access to renowned spots, the brand made an attempt to get noticed by host’s of IHeartMedia Radio’s The Breakfast Club. We made it into the building but had to submit the items curated for Charlamagne the God, Dj Envy and Angela Ye to the mail room. (we hope you received your items) In the PROcess we got to introduce PRG to some buildings personel and explain the meaning and driving forces behind the brand.

Other opportunities that we made were taking advantage of the New York City landscape and use it for the backdrop for some of the winter releases and pieces that our patrons love. It made for an exciting adventure and we know that it will resonate sooner or later. The trip also allowed us to attend the shop of Aime’ Leon Dore, connect with designers and exchange a few pieces.
